By April 3rd, 2010 (just 2 days after a basically unofficial release), nearly 1,000,000 players were digging at Treasure Isle. The official quote:

“Thank you to the 939,473 users who dig Treasure Isle. Lots of love you guys!!!! Treasure Isle is now faster with more fruits! Let’s keep diggin”

As you can see above, well over 900,000 players and they officially released earlier that day. It looks like Zynga will continue its domination in facebook games.
